Hand-binding is a true artisanal craft. The process begins when the bindery receive the book blocks. Each volume is individually bound by hand, using skins that are specially prepared and papers custom-made for our editions. Because of this meticulous, human-centred process, the fine edition can take several months to complete; time we take with care and intention to honour the spirit of the work.

Description
Infinite Stars: Transmissions of the 93 Current traces the afterlife of Aleister Crowley’s work through the people who carried, mutated, and transformed it: a constellation of luminaries, film stars, cabbalists, auteurs, writers, artists, mystics, musicians, a war hero, a killer and a rocket scientist who took the perilous step of living as Thelemites on both sides of the Atlantic as the New Aeon dawned.
From the communication of the IX° in the midst of the Blitz, the strange career of Frater Achad and the Grants’ quiet seeding of the hidden tradition, to Jack Parsons and Marjorie Cameron’s Babalon Working and its desert aftershocks, Kenneth Anger’s films, and Grady McMurtry’s tragic attempt to cross the Abyss, the book follows how the 93 Current moved from wartime England into postwar California, into film and counterculture, and into the present. The supporting figures include Marianne Faithfull, the Rolling Stones, Malcolm Lowry, Dennis Hopper, Alfred Kinsey, Cecil Williamson, William Burroughs, L. Ron Hubbard, and the persistent incursions of the UFO phenomenon. The text is illustrated with 24 inspired artworks by David Sekulla.
Infinite Stars asks what survives contact, what is lost in translation, and why Thelema must now operate as a clandestine witchcraft capable of surviving a hostile cultural and technological environment. Peter Grey presents a gallery of occult portraits and provides a sustained reflection on what persists – or can be retrieved – from the crash site of the magical philosophy of freedom.
