Originally presented in Peter Mark Adams’s keynote, ‘Metamorphoses of Mind and Matter within the Alchemical Nigredo,’ at the Metamorphosis: Ecstasies of Matter & Image conference at the University of Copenhagen on 31st May 2024. The immersive film, with a soundtrack by Sutekh Hexen and Funerary Call, documents a transformative and sorcerous descent into the alchemical nigredo.
