Gordon White

Gordon White (1981–2026) was a chaos magician, shamanic practitioner and permaculture farmer based in Tasmania. His website and podcast, Rune Soup, remain as portals into the world of modern magic offering lessons, lectures, discussion and community with hundreds of hours of material to learn from. He was without equal in contemporary occultism. His work, life and insights will inform the next century of magic; it is a revival that he brought into being and made flourish. A success in many spheres, Gordon worked for some of the world’s largest digital and social media companies. In a life that few experience, he partied with princes, dined in castles, was mentored by a former director of a private spy agency and had a billionaire knight buy him a bottle of champagne; he brought the same chameleon skills to his magical work. Gordon dived in search of sharks and lost cities, sat in ceremony under desert stars and went deep in the Amazon to learn from curanderos. He travelled extensively and researched voraciously. Gordon spoke and taught on the topics of magic, animism, shamanism and psi around the world. His wisdom, humour and dazzling intellect are a shining example to us all.
