Avalon Working launch

  • Courtyard Books 2–4 High Street Glastonbury BA6 9DU United Kingdom (map)

Join us to explore the sacred landscape of Avalon with author Mark Nemglan on Saturday 18th May. This is a unique opportunity to see the landscape through the eyes of a magician who has spent years in ritual and contemplation with the spirits of place. Bringing his Avalon Working to life, we will witness the alignments and follow the energy as it flows through the initiatory landscape.

Meeting at Courtyard Books on Glastonbury High Street at 11am, the best occult bookshop in town, we will set off on a two hour guided journey. Our itinerary will take in the mound at Edmund Hill, the great oak guardians Gog and Magog, the mighty Tor itself and the Red and White Springs. As we will be visiting the sacred springs, do bring small bottles to collect some water.

This is a free event, but it requires that pilgrims have suitable footwear and mobility as we will be walking on sometimes steep and uneven ground for two hours. It is England in May, so a rain jacket may be required. Entry to Chalice Well will cost £5. If you aren’t able to meet those requirements, we would still be delighted to see you in town later in the day.

Please RSVP to our email so that we have an idea of numbers.
