Soft Blue Stars

February 22, 2016

We are pleased to announce that the Bibliothèque Rouge version of Star.Ships  by Gordon White is now available, a sewn paperback printed on high quality 100gsm paper. The standard hardback Star.Traveller edition is also in stock and garnering praise for both its contents and design. As with all titles purchased directly from us, all physical editions come with a free digital version.

For those awaiting the fine bound Mother.Ship edition, we have an update. We visited the bindery last week to confirm the final specifications, and expect the project to be completed in around three weeks. As soon as we have a definite date for shipping we will email those who have pre-ordered a copy. A couple of copies remain of what will be a lavish and otherworldly edition…

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those that attended the launch party at the Atlantis Bookshop which was full to overflowing. The specially concocted Nile at Night cocktails and a certain amount of illicit Nail Rum ensured high spirits throughout the night. Guests joined us from across England and others flew in from Europe for the occasion. A few images from the party, taken by David Evans and Alan Davies, are below those of the new book. Perhaps our best party yet?

Gordon continues to delight and illuminate on the podcast circuit and we will post links to his interviews and reviews of his book as they come in.

The paperback edition can be ordered on the Star.Ships page here
